Trust
Circle

The KlimateNet Trust Circle is a core component of KlimateNet’s social proofing and credibility benchmark system using Trust Cycle Analysis for climate action.

It’s not just a concept — it’s a structured, values-driven network designed to collect reviews from people on project trust circles .

Decan operates a wildlife refuge and rehabilitation center, housing over 9 species rescued from trafficking, injury, or habitat loss.

  • Animals include cheetahs, lions, ostriches, turtles, donkeys, caracals, squirrels, antelopes, kudus, zebras, porcupines, reptiles, and amphibians.

  • The refuge is not a zoo but a natural reserve with its own ecosystem; animals are rehabilitated and released when possible.

The project focuses on restoring and protecting biodiverse ecosystems, from acacia to mangrove forests.

These forests are natural carbon sinks that also combat erosion and soil degradation—vital tools in the fight against climate change. By preserving biodiversity, the project supports food security for vulnerable communities most at risk from increasing desertification. The area is also home to sand dunes, beaches, and over 150 species of birds, along with diverse mammals, reptiles, and marine life.

Problem

  • Prosopis juliflora (from South America), an invasive species introduced to "green" the desert, has spread rapidly and displaced native plants, worsening overgrazing and ecosystem collapse.

Goals

  • Scale up biochar/charcoal production with better packaging and machinery.

  • Partner with East African experts to refine techniques.

  • Turn Prosopis from a threat into an economic and ecological asset.

Highlands Rewilding seeks to help rewild and re-people the Scottish Highlands by increasing carbon sequestration, growing biodiversity, creating green new jobs and generating sustainable profit for purpose. By managing land this way, we aim to become a world leader in accelerating nature-based solutions that can help fight the existential and related crises of climate meltdown, biodiversity collapse, and social inequality, whilst helping to rebuild local economies.

Biochar Life's initiative in Phrao, Northern Thailand transforms agricultural waste into biochar, a sustainable practice replacing open-field burning, to improve air quality and soil health. Over five years, this project aims to sequester approximately 35,000 tons of CO2 equivalent, enhancing environmental quality and agricultural productivity.

The Kuzey Biogas Energy Project is designed to tackle the region’s pressing need for sustainable organic waste management by installing an anaerobic digestion system. This system will convert  the organic fraction of the municipal waste into biogas, which is then harnessed as a renewable fuel for electricity generation.
