Exclusive Opportunity: Be Part of France’s Flagship Soil Carbon Pilot

In partnership with KlimateNet & Carbonds.io

This is your invitation to access and contribute to a landmark climate initiative — one that combines regenerative agriculture, science-backed carbon removal, and government support at scale.

In April 2024, KlimateNet’s French partner Carbonds.io was selected by the French Government to pilot and implement a groundbreaking carbon removal service chain in the Auvergne region of central France. Backed by public funding and led in collaboration with Mond’Arverne local authorities, this project will pioneer a new standard for soil-based carbon removal — far exceeding traditional forest carbon metrics.

Why This Matters

Based on data from INRA (France’s leading agricultural research institute), soil enhancement practices like grassing, rotation, and diversified orchards can sequester up to 154 tCO2/ha — a game-changing magnitude for carbon markets. By 2050, the project will regenerate 540 hectares of orchards, increase fruit production by 250%, and potentially generate €1.6M in carbon revenue through nature-based credits.

We Are Looking for Visionary Contributors:

  • Fruit & Soil Experts to guide the transformation and adaptation of regenerative practices

  • Carbon Certifiers who want to be part of a high-integrity, government-endorsed process

  • MRV Specialists in soil carbon — for accurate measurement, reporting, and verification

  • Carbon Credit Buyers who seek high-impact, EU-origin, science-based carbon assets

Why Join?

This is not yet public. It is an exclusive opportunity for aligned experts and contributors to be part of France’s flagship nature-based carbon initiative — from the ground up. You won’t just observe innovation — you’ll shape it.Work closely with government bodies, certified research institutions, and the KlimateNet network to set a precedent for soil carbon methodologies in Europe.

This is your gateway to influence policy, shape practice, and gain privileged early access to one of Europe’s most ambitious regenerative finance pilots.
