F.A.Q

Tailored Solutions for NbS Projects

01

Q: How much time do I need to commit?

A: As little as 5 minutes per week or as much as you want. Start with simple tasks like verifying a photo (2-3 minutes) or flagging an inconsistency. More involved assessments might take 30-60 minutes but unlock higher reputation scores and opportunities. There's no minimum requirement. Contribute when you can, on projects you care about. Many validators spend 1-2 hours monthly and still build meaningful impact.

02

Q: Do I need special expertise or qualifications to join?

A: No special qualifications required to start. If you care about climate action and can observe honestly, you're qualified. We have tasks for all levels: beginners verify photos and basic information, while experts conduct technical assessments. Your local knowledge, lived experience, or professional expertise all add unique value, whether you're a community member, student, scientist, or climate professional.

03

Q: What happens to the information I provide? Who sees it?

A: Your observations help create transparency scores for climate projects, which investors and companies use to make funding decisions. All contributions are attributed to your validator profile (you control what's public). We never sell your data. Project developers see aggregated trust signals, not individual validator identities unless you choose to share on the mobile app. If you're reporting locally, we have privacy protections to prevent retaliation. You own your contributions and can withdraw participation anytime.

04

Q: Is this actually making a difference, or just another platform collecting data?

A: Yes, it's creating real impact. Here's how: Your validations directly influence project trust scores that investors use to allocate capital. Projects with strong community verification get funded faster. We've seen $ unlocked through our platform. When you flag concerns, we investigate and work with developers to address issues.
