KlimateNet monthly breakfast hybrid roundtables are open and transparent discussions to share views about the controversial issues around the certification and the market of voluntary carbon credits for nature based projects that remove green house gas emissions or any other theme that participants would like to discuss and shares. Participants are from diverse backgrounds, from the voluntary carbon credits market, carbon removal projects and crypto carbon economy or just new “explorers” interested to learn more about the sector. Some of us can attend in person at the Impact Hub co-working space (address: 94B York Way near Kings' cross tube station in London) and some can join remotely (zoom link above). All participants are current or new KlimateNet members and are listed in the Breakfast roundable private community. You can interact safely with each other on the App.
We ran several roundtables this year with valuable contributions from Andre van Zyl from Australia (New World Pavement Solutions), Javier Dooenck from India (GECA Environment & Bioenergy meetings) and from Linda Hilton from England (Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership), Marcel Eichler from Carbonfuture, Matt Rickard from Biochar life, and most other members listed in the Breakfast roundtable community.
KlimateNet roundtables are open, transparent and collective discussions under the Chatham House rule. We aim to share different perspectives and expertise to improve our understanding of complex key issues relating to carbon emissions removal.
The event is free for fee paying members (Friend+ and Patron). For KlimateNet friends (free members) attendance will cost £10.00.
