KlimateNet — Account & Data Deletion Request

At KlimateNet (operated by KLIMATENET Ltd), we take your privacy and data ownership very seriously. If you no longer wish to use our platform, you can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time.

 

Important Notice: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, you will lose access to your profile, membership subscriptions, active communities, and any earning-based rewards accumulated in your wallet.

How to Request Account Deletion

We provide two simple methods to request the deletion of your account and data:

 

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Quickest)

If you still have the KlimateNet mobile application installed on your device, you can delete your account instantly by following these steps:

  • Open the KlimateNet app.

  • Navigate to the Account tab from the main screen.

  • Tap on the Settings button.

  • Scroll down and tap the red Delete Account option.

  • Confirm your choice in the popup message. Your account and associated details will be instantly deleted.

 

Method 2: Web-Based Request (No App Login Required)

If you have uninstalled the app or are unable to log in, you can request manual account deletion directly through this website. You do not need to log in to submit this request.

Please send an account deletion request email to our support team at info@KlimateNet.com with the subject line "KlimateNet Account Deletion Request" and provide your registered email/phone number and full name.

 

Alternatively, you can email us directly at info@KlimateNet.com or sandeep.krishnappa@klimatelink.com with the subject line "KlimateNet Account Deletion Request" and provide your registered email/phone number.

Data Handling, Deletion & Retention Practices

When you delete your account or when a deletion request is processed, your data is handled strictly in accordance with Google Play developer policies and international data protection standards:

1. Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted

  • Profile Information: Your name, username, email address, profile picture, bio, and associated tags.

  • Social & Community Data: Your posts, replies, comments, and memberships in various Trust Circle groups or communities.

  • Device Data: Your registered device information (FCM push tokens used for notifications).

  • Referral & Invitation Data: Any active contacts permissions or contact invitation records stored temporarily.

2. Data That May Be Retained (Regulatory Compliance)

  • Financial & Transaction Records: If you are a subscribed member (Friend, FriendPlus, or Patron) and made payments via Stripe or Google Play In-App Purchases, transaction metadata, invoice history, and billing records must be retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax, corporate accounting, and legal requirements.

  • Security & Logs: Minimal anonymized security log data is stored briefly to protect against fraud, prevent system abuse, and comply with safety audits. This data does not contain identifiable personal information.

3. Processing Time

  • In-App Requests: Completed immediately.

  • Email/Web Requests: Manually verified and fully processed within 7 business days of receipt. We will notify you via email once the deletion is complete.
